Domenic Alfieri
Youth Director
Domenic Alfieri grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY where he was introduced to lacrosse in 1st grade and then his family moved to Austin, TX where he continued to play throughout Middle School and High School. He then went on to play goalie for Texas A&M where he became a Two-Time All American and was selected to the All-Lone Star Alliance Team in 2000 and 2001. He was also named the Lone Star Alliance Defensive Player of the Year in 2001 and was the Texas A&M Defensive MVP in 2000.
After graduating from college, he returned to his alma mater James Bowie High School in Austin, TX where he was the head lacrosse coach and took his team to 5 district Championship games, winning 3 district titles. His team went on to finish in the top 4 in the state 5 times. He also spent 5 years as the offensive coordinator at St. Joseph’s High School in Trumbull, CT where his team played in two state championships and won one state title.
Coach Alfieri recently moved to Fort Collins this past December (2017) from Ridgefield, CT with his wife, Joy, and their 4 children: Carmella-11, Carmine-9, Giulliana-9, and Marcello-6. He spent this Spring head coaching his son’s U7 Viper’s team and assistant coaching his daughter’s U12 Havoc team. During this short period of time, he quickly made a name for himself in the local lacrosse community and was asked to host a goalie clinic as well as provide regular goalie coaching for players within the Vipers, Havoc and NOCO Select organizations. He is now the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins.
