After having huge success and great feedback from our first year, the Fort Collins Vipers are proud to again offer Summer Lacrosse Camps. These camps are intended for all ability and will be a mix of lacrosse drills and skills, scrimmages, as well as non lacrosse fun activities.
Staff: Our coaching staff has been carefully selected in order to provide players with the most beneficial, enjoyable camp experience. Coaches consist of All-State and All-Conference Vipers alumni; including current collegiate athletes from DU, CSU and KU, with a combined 38 years of playing experience.
Equipment to bring: Helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouth guard, and stick.
Couple of options for gear if you don't have it all:
BORROW from Boosters gear garage: Equipment may be available to borrow, depending on size requested. This is by first come first serve basis. Open to All Ability Levels:These camps are more geared towards beginner and intermediate level players, but advanced players are also encouraged to register and will provided with the necessary attention to their skills. Players will be divided into groups based on skill level, and coaches will execute drills and lessons based on player need. Our coaches have both coaching and playing experience with all age and skill levels.
Skills focused on:Beginning players will work on the fundamentals of passing, catching, some dodging, scooping, and shooting. Intermediate and advanced players will learn about field awareness and more technical game play to be applied during the regular season. These camps are great for players just learning the game, as well as players trying to prepare for the upcoming season.
Non Lacrosse activities: These camps aren't solely focused on lacrosse skills, but also player's enjoyment and team building. The Vipers organization places a high priority on respect, sportsmanship, and a sense of team. Players will also participate in games and activities to bring them closer to their teammates.
What else to bring: Lax Gear, Lunch, snack, and water bottle. Sunscreen. Comfortable athletic shoes AND/OR cleats
Cost: $120 per week camp
Family Discount: There is a discount for each player you sign from your family. A $10 discount for 2nd player and $5 for each there after. (ie. 1st player of the family is $120, 2nd is $110, 3rd is $105)
